Yamaha電吉他可說是低調OP的電吉他。從1990年推出，Yamaha Pacifica系列電吉他最早是在美國加州提供給眾多在地音樂家客製化的電吉他，而隨著Pacifica系列在大演出場合展現出可以適應各種曲風的能耐與高性能，Yamaha開始開發Pacifica的量產型號，而今天要介紹的Pacifica 612VII便是高貴不貴、低調OP的一個平民款式。
